Amy Dodds was my mother. She died of scarlet fever and was buried on troodos. Iwas 6 years old but remember visits to a tented encampment being used nearbye to treat victims of the oubreak. I assume the surname became confused as dodas is a Cypriot name. Our family left Cyprus in 1953 as the first of the several political troubles started. We lost friends. The last I knew was there was a wooden cross in the 1980's. I plan to visit this year around May or June. If we can establish appropriate credentials I would like to correct the current gravestone. I will of course cover costs.
